Dear Prospective Guest,
There aren’t really too many house rules. Basically, come in and make yourself at home. There’s no such thing as a check-in time that’s too late as we offer self check in, so no worries there. Let me know if you’d like an earlier check-in time than 5PM or later check-out time than 10AM. It can usually be arranged, depending on other bookings. Worst case scenario, we can store your luggage our housekeeper will make you a cup of tea and you can lounge down in the gazebo by the river while we are preparing the cabin.
Please treat our cabin as if it were your own home. Our only requests are please take your shoes off while inside the cabin and please do not invite visitors, the cabin and all the amenities we provide are only for our registered guests.
Before use of the hot tub please shower with soap and water as this helps the water stay in balance with only needing to balance chemicals at departure.
The cleaning fee covers the time to clean and prepare the cabin for a guests arrival not for cleaning up after a guests departure so please be respectful of guests that may be checking in behind you and plan ahead for your departure.
1). Please do not strip the sheets off the beds we prefer to do this ourselves, just put the beds back the way you found them with bedding left flat on top of the beds.
2). If towels are damp please hang them over the towel rack to air dry.
3). Please wipe down kitchen counter tops, load and start the dishwasher(s) if you are unsure where kitchen inventory belongs please leave on the counter.
4). If grill has been used, please brush grill down and wipe off side trays.
5). Confirm Home Theater Room Projector System has been turned off per instructions.
6). Please turn lights and ceiling fans off, check to make sure all doors are locked, during winter set heaters to to 65 degrees.
7). Bag all trash from kitchen and bathrooms and just toss your trash in the bin on the side of the driveway on your way out.
After you book and well before your arrival date, you’ll receive an email from us explaining how to get to the cabin, where to park, and all sorts of good information about things to do in and around this wonderful town. When you arrive, there will be tourist brochures and welcome letter with more information, like WiFi access code and restaurant recommendations.
We want you to thoroughly enjoy our cabin and your time in Blue Ridge. We’ll do everything we can to make that happen. It’s hoped you’ll book with us over and over again. We truly want you to enjoy the accommodations. We'll do everything I can to make your stay wonderful.
